Cost: $19,000,000.00

The developer of this project has all intentions to make a bold statement with this project and is going to link the hotel to the riverfront. The project will begin by completely renovating the 200-215 rooms and ballrooms.

Downtown YMCA

The YMCA has plans to do a complete renovation of their already existing site in the Downtown area.

Kelly Donham Hotel

Donham's project was proposed with 30 to 32 executive hotel suites, a 10,000- to 15,000-square-foot conference room and retail and restaurant space. It also would have a 250-space parking garage -- all of it where mostly vacant office buildings once stood.

Exchange Place

Est. Completion: Summer of 2010

Construction on the 207-unit rental project, that now includes apartments in the Bitting Building, is scheduled to begin in 2009. Bitting Building apartments will be completed in the summer of 2010. Amenities will include a rooftop relaxation area, party room with TV/movie area and a skyway connecting Exchange Place to the Wichita Executive Centre fitness center.
